The Godparents

Who will look out for those I care when I can't?

Because they can't look out for themselves as a consequence of the challenges they experience as a result of age, biology and/or injury.

That's the purpose of the "The Godparents".

Whilst the cultural concept of Godparents is based on a historical religiously defined role, we are not religious as an organisation.

We think that the idea of Godparents as those who act as parents for those who can't, is a good description for the duties required by an organisation that looks out for others as if they were family, but who may not be genetically related.

In this day and age that means a lot of the time wrangling government support arrangements, as provided by a range of departments from NDIS to DVA, and then organising and checking up on the provision of care services.
